Brahmaea sinica, commonly known as the Chinese Moon Moth, is a large and striking insect found in China. It belongs to the family Saturniidae, known for their beautiful and often colorful wings. The wingspan of Brahmaea sinica can reach up to 15 centimeters, making it one of the largest moths in China. Its wings are predominantly brown with intricate patterns and a distinctive crescent-shaped marking, resembling a moon, hence its common name.
