Lemonia syriensis is a species of insect commonly known as the Syrian lemon butterfly. It belongs to the family Papilionidae and is found in the Middle East region, particularly in Syria. This butterfly has a wingspan of around 6-7 centimeters and displays vibrant yellow coloration with black markings. It is known to feed on various citrus plants, hence its common name.
