Platynota exasperatana, der ärgerliche Platynota-Nachtfalter, ist eine Mottenart aus der Familie der Tortricidae. Es kommt in Nordamerika von Quebec bis Florida, im Westen bis Texas und im Norden bis Michigan und Ontario vor.
 Die Flügelspannweite beträgt ca.13 mm. Die Vorderflügel sind hellgrau, im mittleren und basalen Bereich dunkler grau bis schwärzlich schattiert und mit Spuren schwarzer Linien markiert. Die Hinterflügel variieren von hell- bis dunkelbraungrau. Falter wurden von Juli bis August am Flügel registriert.
