Apodemia virgulti is a species of butterfly commonly known as the Mormon Metalmark. It is found in western North America, particularly in California and Nevada. This small butterfly has a wingspan of about 2.5 centimeters and displays a striking pattern of metallic blue and orange on its wings. The larvae of Apodemia virgulti feed on various species of buckwheat plants.
