Damon annulatipes, commonly known as the striped tail whip scorpion, is an arachnid belonging to the order Amblypygi. It is characterized by its elongated body, which can reach up to 8 centimeters in length, and its distinctive striped tail. Found in tropical regions, this insect is nocturnal and feeds on small invertebrates. Despite its intimidating appearance, Damon annulatipes is harmless to humans.
