Eremobates dilatatus, commonly known as the desert wind scorpion, is an arachnid belonging to the order Solifugae. It is found in the arid regions of North America, particularly in the southwestern United States. This insect-like creature has a robust body, long legs, and large chelicerae used for capturing prey. Despite its name, it is not a true scorpion and lacks a tail or venomous sting.
