Eremobates hodai, commonly known as the Hodai solifugid, is a species of arachnid belonging to the order Solifugae. It is found in the southwestern United States, particularly in the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico. This insect is characterized by its large size, reaching up to 2 inches in length, and its distinctive appearance with a tan or yellowish-brown body and long, spiny legs. It is a fast and agile predator, feeding on small invertebrates and occasionally scavenging on carrion.
