Summary
Eresus kollari, the ladybird spider, is a spider species in the family Eresidae. It is one of the three species into which Eresus cinnaberinus or Eresus niger has been divided. Eresus kollari keep the remains of their prey stacked in the web. The females use the same burrow throughout their whole life. The prey can be large like tenebrionoid beetles, up to 32.5 mm long.
