Andrena milwaukeensis, commonly known as the Milwaukee mining bee, is a species of solitary ground-nesting bee found in the Milwaukee area of Wisconsin, USA. These bees are medium-sized, measuring around 10-12 mm in length, and have a dark metallic blue or greenish-black coloration. They are important pollinators, particularly for early spring flowering plants, and construct underground tunnels for nesting.
