Phrynichus persicus, commonly known as the Persian camel spider, is an arachnid belonging to the order Solifugae. It is found in the deserts of Iran and other parts of the Middle East. This insect-like creature has a fearsome appearance with a large body, powerful jaws, and long legs, but it is not venomous to humans.
