Solpuga bovicornis, commonly known as the bull-horned solpugid, is a species of arachnid belonging to the order Solifugae. It is characterized by its distinctive horn-like projections on the front of its cephalothorax, resembling the horns of a bull. This insect is found in arid regions of North Africa and the Middle East, where it inhabits sandy and rocky areas. Despite its intimidating appearance, Solpuga bovicornis is not venomous to humans and primarily feeds on small invertebrates.
