Eremobates ist eine Gattung von Spinnentieren der Ordnung Solifugae. Etwa 2 Zoll lang, haben diese sich schnell bewegenden Spinnentiere das größte Kiefer-zu-Körper-Verhältnis aller Tiere. Sie sind nicht giftig, haben aber einen bemerkenswert kräftigen Biss. Sie jagen oft nachts, haben ein schlechtes Sehvermögen und navigieren meist mit einem Paar Pedipalpen. Das Männchen nutzt seine Pedipalpen, um Samenflüssigkeit auf das Weibchen zu übertragen, das zwischen 50 und 200 Eier im Boden vergräbt. Das Weibchen bleibt bei den Jungen, bis sie reif genug sind, um zu jagen und sich zu verteidigen, sie zu füttern und zu pflegen. Arten der Gattung Eremobates kommen im Allgemeinen im Westen der Vereinigten Staaten und am nördlichen Ende im Südwesten Kanadas und im Süden in Mexiko vor.
